Matthew Ross Smith is a novelist and Assistant Teaching Professor. His 2021 novel, The Million Dollar Race (Simon & Schuster) was a Washington Post Book Club Selection, a finalist for the Sunshine State Young Reader Awards, and a finalist for the Golden Sower Young Reader Award.
