Corrie fans spot ‘new Todd continuity blunder’ amid missing facial scar
Todd #Todd
Coronation Street fans were left with raised eyebrows this evening after spotting Todd Grimshaw’s ‘permanent’ facial scar was no more as actor Gareth Pierce made his debut on the ITV soap tonight.
Soap bosses chose to recast Todd after Bruno Langley was sacked in 2017, with Gareth making his first appearance on the cobbles this week.
Yet eagle-eyed fans noticed that, as well as not looking a lot like the original, he was also missing the scar on his cheek.
The bad boy acquired the scar back in 2014 after being beaten up so badly by muggers that he was left disfigured.

One tweeted: “When they changed Todd did they forget to add his facial scar??? #Corrie.”
While another commented: “Todd’s scar’s cleared up. That’ll be a relief. #Corrie.”
