Phillips (illness) was a non-participant during Thursday’s practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals’ official site reports.
Phillips seems to be dealing with a non-COVID-19 related illness, however, the ailment is serious enough to force him to miss practice time. He’ll hope to shake off the illness, but if he can’t play in week 5, Angelo Blackson would be in line to draw the start at defensive end.
