Baby’s death: A baby was pronounced dead in a Lancaster home this week after getting shot in the face, police said. A 3-year-old was the shooter, police said.

Fall foliage: Fall is in full swing, bringing pumpkin patches, corn mazes and Halloween fun – not to mention the changing color of the leaves. We took a look at central Pennsylvania’s foliage from the air.

Death investigations: Only five of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties have accredited coroner or medical examiner offices, which the state doesn’t require. In one county, for example, the coroner’s office relies on a facility with rusted equipment.

Fetterman’s health: Five months after having a stroke, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman released a medical report from an Oct. 14 doctor’s visit. It says he is healing well and has been cleared for full-time public service work.

Church and state: Pa.’s candidates for governor, Doug Mastriano and Josh Shapiro, both follow religions in their personal lives. However, they have opposing thoughts on the role of faith in governing.

Hannity show: Fox News’ Sean Hannity was in York yesterday for what he called a town hall, but it essentially was a campaign rally for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Halloween

Parades: Halloween parades are scheduled in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties this week and next.

Trick or treat: Trick-or-treating is scheduled in central Pa. towns mostly on two dates: Oct. 27 and Oct. 31.

Sports

Penn State-Minnesota: Penn State football will be rebounding Saturday from its 24-point loss to Michigan, and Minnesota has lost its last two games after starting 4-0. A lot of players and coaches could decide this one on Saturday night.

Undefeated: The Boiling Springs field hockey team won its 17th consecutive game yesterday, defeating Susquehanna Township, 4-1.
