Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni topped off a 6-0 start with a perfectly Philly f-bomb

Eagles #Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni bolstered his 2022 NFL Coach of the Year resume by pushing his team out to a 6-0 record. His 26-17 Sunday Night Football win cemented the Eagles’ spot as the NFC’s top team.

He also bolstered his Philadelphia credibility by demanding a Cowboy defender be ejected from the game — a statement perfectly punctuated with a triumphant f-bomb.

Sirianni was heated after Dallas defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa took umbrage to Eagles’ center Jason Kelce finishing off a block late in a game whose outcome had all but been decided. Odighizuwa responded with a post-whistle takedown that drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness. He also drew the ire of Sirianni, who expressed the desire he leave the playing field in no uncertain terms.

Did Odighizuwa’s post-whistle shenanigans deserve an ejection? You be the judge.

Was Sirianni fired up? Yeah, maybe a little.

I’d call that big Kirk Cousins “you like that?” energy, but Siranni didn’t tell the refs to get anyone the “heck” out of there, so he wins this battle. The only way he could have made the whole encounter more Philly is if he’d fit “jawn” into his tirade. A jawn, as Philadelphians are acutely aware, is a word that can be appropriately substituted in place of a person, place or jawn.

Either way, Eagles fans loved the passion — even if there’s some debate about what preceded the f-bomb in question. Warning: the tweets below feature some NSFW language … as you probably guessed.
