LPGA Tour: Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow shoot third-round 70s at LPGA Classic

Maguire moved into the top 200 in the world rankings for the first time last month
Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow both carded third rounds of one-under-par 70 to lie three under and one under respectively at the Shoprite LPGA Classic in New Jersey.
Meadow signed off round three with a birdie at the 18th hole.
Cavan woman Maguire lies 12 shot behind leader Mel Reid, who posted a 66 in her third round.
Reid didn’t drop a shot in her third round, picking up four birdies in the process.
Second-round leader Nasa Hataoka dropped to fourth position after a round of 70.
Maguire moved into the top 200 in the world rankings last month after sharing 18th place in the ANA Inspiration major championship.
She is now 171st in the global rankings – 10 spots ahead of her fellow Ulsterwoman Meadow, who is Galgorm Castle’s touring professional.
