Mel C has admitted she didn’t feel the need to warn fellow singer Robbie Williams she was going to open up about their romance when penning her autobiography.
The Spice Girl previously confirmed she dated the Angels hitmaker in the mid-90s and has opened up about their time together in her new tell-all memoir, Who I Am.
However, she confessed that she didn’t feel the need to let him know he’s in the book, because of the way the former Take That star has apparently ‘behaved over the years’, she said.
To give the Shine singer his due, he has admitted himself he was in no rush to settle down before he met wife Ayda.
‘[It’s] amazing for somebody built like me – to put it in vulgar terms – a sh**ger. She gives me everything I want,’ the Angels singer explained to Grazia magazine earlier this year.
‘Nah, sod him!’ Mel told Women’s Own magazine, adding it was a relationship that simply served its course.

‘I’m not warning him about anything the way he’s behaved over the years. Like all of us, relationships come and go.’
‘It really hurts at the time, but once you’re over it, you’re over it and you move on. Still, it was nice to put the truth out there,’ the Northern Star singer added.
The 48-year-old – who has daughter Scarlet, 13, with ex Thomas Starr – is said to have split with her boyfriend of seven years Joe Marshall last month, a music executive she had been with since 2015.

The pair kept their relationship private and Mel previously said she felt he always ‘had her back’.
‘He challenges me but respects and loves me. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a relationship where someone has got my back,’ she told Closer in 2016.
Talking about her breakup with ex Thomas in 2012, Melanie admitted that it was for the best for everyone.
‘I make big decisions, ‘ she told Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs of the split with her daughter’s dad.

‘Leaving her dad was hard but I wasn’t happy and she wasn’t happy, and it wasn’t the environment I wanted my child to grow up in.’
Mel hasn’t openly spoken of the split, but a music industry source said the very busy singer was devoted to spending time with her young daughter.
