Coleen Rooney drags Peter Andre ‘chipolata’ claims into Rebekah Vardy court case

Coleen Rooney’s lawyers have dragged Rebekah Vardy’s scandalous kiss and tell about Peter Andre into their libel battle.

The legal team representing Wayne Rooney’s wife, 34, have filed new papers as part of the legal battle with Rebekah, 38, after she sued Coleen for libel over their Wagatha Christie row.

Coleen sensationally accused Rebekah’s account of leaking stories to the press from her private Instagram account – a claim which Jamie Vardy’s wife vehemently denies.

In newly-filed documents, Coleen’s team accuse Rebekah of having form for putting private information into the public domain about other celebrities.

They reference her sensational 2001 interview with the News Of The World, in which Rebekah described a night of passion with pop star Peter Andre before she married footballer Jamie.

The papers state: “In the interview, the Claimant disclosed amongst other things that (i) she had sexual intercourse with Peter Andre in November 2001, and that it lasted just five minutes…

“(ii) Peter Andre had ‘the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen’ that was ‘like a miniature chipolata’…

“(iii) that he ‘had absolutely no hairs on his body’; and (iv) he ‘slaver[ed]’ like one of her boxer dogs when he kissed her.”

Peter Andre has never publicly addressed the comments made by Rebekah in the News of the World interview.

The documents also told how Rebekah worked for The Sun to produce a ‘behind the scenes’ video at the National Television Awards in 2018.

The papers allege that at the awards ceremony, Rebekah was accused by former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding of taking intrusive photographs of her without her consent.

In another excerpt, Coleen’s lawyers brand Rebekah “publicity seeking” and accuse her of deliberately sitting behind Wayne’s wife at a footie match to “guarantee her appearance in the media”.

The papers state: “Amongst her other publicity seeking behaviour, the Claimant [Vardy] sat behind the Defendant [Rooney] on the match of 16 June 2016, so that she would guarantee her appearance in the media…

“The Claimant refused to sit in her allocated seats in the circumstances below, instead choosing to sit by the Defendant.

“All of the seats allocated to the Claimant were several rows behind where she actually chose to sit.

“The rows directly behind the Defendant, where the Claimant and her guests sat, were in fact reserved for Football Association (“FA”) security.

“Ten minutes before the start of the match, the FA Liaison Officer told members of the Claimant’s party that they were not sitting in the correct seats and that the seats they were sitting in were specifically reserved for FA security.

“They were asked to move. The Claimant’s guests refused and were abusive to the liaison officer.

“As a result, FA security were forced to sit elsewhere.”

Last year, Coleen sensationally accused Rebekah’s account of being behind stories that were leaked from her private account – earning her the nickname Wagatha Christie for her online sleuthing.

She set up her own sting operation to catch whoever had been passing on information from her private page to the press.

She posted a series of fake stories, blocked all her followers apart from Rebekah’s account and then sprung a gotcha post online when the hoax posts made their way into the papers.

Rebekah vehemently denied she was behind the leaks, insisting a number of people had access to her Instagram page.

After Coleen’s post last October, Rebekah released a statement to strenuously deny she was behind the leak.

Rebekah wrote: “I wish you had called me if you thought this.

“I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.

“I’m not being funny but I don’t need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?…

“I liked you a lot Coleen & I’m so upset that you have chosen to do this.”
