BLACKPINK’s ‘Pink Venom’ song from upcoming album ‘Born Pink’ still going strong on Billboard Global 200 chart

The South Korean girl-band BLACKPINK is painting the town pink with the success of their single ‘Pink Venom’ from upcoming mini-album ‘Born Pink’.

The four-member group released the single on August 19, which instantly emerged as a hit on the chartbeat in different countries as fans celebrated BLACKPINK’s much-awaited comeback.

As of latest reports, BLACKPINK’s ‘Pink Venom’ song is still going strong atop the Billboard Global Excl.US list. Billboard further revealed that the single from the ‘Born Pink’ album is still in top 3 on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

As per the details revealed, ‘Pink Venom’, which was comfortably leading the Global 200 chart for two weeks, dropped to number 2 position as Harry Styles ‘As It Was’ rose to bag the top position from the second spot.

Meanwhile, the girl-group, which consists of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé, touched another milestone as their music video ‘Whistle’ crossed 800 million views on YouTube. The video was released on August 8, 2016.

All eyes are on the upcoming album ‘Born Pink’ as it marks the return of BLACKPINK after two years of no music. The second studio album by the girl-group will come out in September, followed by a world tour in October.

Ever since their first full-length album, ‘The Album’, which came out in October 2020, BLACKPINK has become a global sensation.

On the other hand, the 26-year-old Jennie, BLACKPINK’s one of the youngest members, was recently all over the Internet as she became the subject of dating rumour. Several fans of BLACKPINK and another K-Pop group, BTS, recently started speculating that Jennie and V aka Kim Tae-hyung were dating.
