EA DOWN: Server Status latest as FIFA 21 EA Play trial goes live

EA Play #EAPlay

The EA Play platform across PS4, Xbox One and PC is coming under added pressure today, with gamers reporting EA servers going down.

The problems with server access started at around 4pm BST, and coincides with the launch of a new FIFA 21 trial on the EA Play subscription service.

EA Play members are now able to download a version of FIFA 21, which provides around ten-hours of play time across all compatible platforms.

What makes this special is that FIFA 21 isn’t scheduled to be released until October 9, 2020, giving players a week to test out the latest version of the hit footy game.

It should also be noted that there is no free FIFA 21 demo, making the EA Play version even more coveted today.

More news is expected from EA Help services if the current outage continues and there’s a chance that servers will come under added pressure later this evening.

This will be when the majority of EA Play subscribers look to start downloading and playing FIFA 21.
