The Surprising Background And Qualifications Of Simz Ngema’s Zimbabwean Baby Daddy Tino Chinyani

South African-based Zimbabwean model and media personality Tino Chinyani is a household name in the entertainment industry.

He has carved out his name as one of the best male fashion models and most loved television presenters.

Chinyani has presented on The Morning show on etv and on Channel O’s Top 5 Drive. He is considered one of the sexiest men in the entertainment industry, and most will remember the sadness women expressed when he dated actress Simz Ngema.

Tino Chinyani was born on 9 September 1994 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

He attended St. John Preparatory School and St. John’s College, one of the top private schools in Zimbabwe.

At St John’s, Tino was an all-rounder as he was the deputy head boy and a basketball captain.

He also represented Zimbabwe in the Under 19 rugby team. Tino was a member of the Interact society.

After finishing his Advanced Level studies in high school, Tino enrolled at Monash University and moved to South Africa to study. He studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management.

The fashionista never imagined that he would be a renowned model. His friend, a photographer, persuaded him to participate in a photo shoot.

The shoot heralded the beginning of Tino Chinyani’s modelling career. To this day, he dedicates his career to his friend.

In 2014, Tino won Mr Monash, a school pageant hosted at Monash University. The ladies’ man was also named the university’s third most influential student in 2015.

He realised the power of social media for a model, and he reckoned he should post his pictures more.

South Africa’s top modelling agency, Boss Models, came across his profile and signed him.

Tino’s career blossomed from there, and he got to model for South African and international brands, including Jet Stores, Mobicel, Garnier, David Tlale, Tokyo James, Maxhosa, Sheria Ngowi, and Rich Mnisi.

Having made a big name as a model, Tino decided to venture into the media and entertainment space.

He jumped onto the MTV VJ search and was a finalist in 2017. Tino then became a co-presenter on the Channel O Top 5 Drive.

In 2018, he joined etv’s The Morning Show as a co-host.

Tino Chinyani has a two-year-old son with actress Simz Ngema. However, the couple separated last year, and they are co-parenting.
