WATCH: Anthony Richardson’s 45-yard TD puts Florida ahead of Utah
Utah #Utah
Florida’s Anthony Richardson has looked every bit as advertised in the first half against Utah, and his 45-yard rushing touchdown put the Gators ahead of the Utes to close out the half.
One of the reasons fans were so high on Richardson a year ago was because of his big-play ability. That was on full display in the first half against Utah. After the defense held the Utes to a pair of field goals in the second quarter, Richardson led a drive down the field and took the ball the rest of the way by himself once they got into Utah territory.
This is the reason Florida fans wanted him to start of Emory Jones in 2021, it’s the reason he’s a potential first-round pick without playing a full season and it’s the reason the Gators are leading going into the half.
