Gabriel Jesus’ run for Arsenal’s opener against Bournemouth was ridiculous, he’s unplayable right now

Gabriel Jesus produced a sensational run to create Arsenal’s first goal against Bournemouth on Saturday evening.

The Gunners found themselves 2-0 up early on at the Vitality Stadium courtesy of a brace in quick succession from captain Martin Odegaard.

But Jesus played a huge role in both goals. He assisted the second, albeit in accidental fashion, but it was the first goal where Arsenal’s new No.9 showed what a special player he is.

The Brazilian displayed a scary level of strength to knock Bournemouth’s new signing Marco Senesi over and then beat a couple of players before playing in the reverse pass to compatriot Gabriel Martinelli.

His effort was saved by Mark Travers but Odegaard was there to stab home the rebound.

However the Leicester performance led to many players drafting him in and costing just £8.1 million, he is comfortably the most-selected attacker in the game.

Jesus won four Premier League titles with City but looks to have already gone up another gear at Arsenal.

And Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has heaped huge praise on his early season form under Mikel Arteta.

“At Arsenal he has been given the chance to be the focal point, he has been shown the love by the coach and the fans, and already he is repaying that,” the 2005 Ballon d’Or winner told The Mirror.

“This season I expect big things from him – he will repay the love shown in him by showing he is not just one of the best players in the Premier League but also in Europe.”
