Stray Kids’ lead rapper Hyunjin has performed at the band’s Oakland concert despite a hand injury and he is receiving heaps of praise for that.

Fans shared videos of the 22-year-old dancer-singer performing at Monday’s concert with an apparent hand injury.

“Hyunjin still going so hard with the choreo breaks my heart we know he must’ve wanted to give his best every single time and give every single stay the same concert experience. we love you hyunjin and hope your arm heals soon,” one user commented as they shared a clip of Hyunjin eagerly dancing while seemingly avoiding the use of his right hand.

Another Twitter user noted how rapper Felix tries to support Hyunjin during their “Thunderous” performance.

Another supporter expressed concerns for the Stray Kids member and wrote, “He’s probably too tired because of the sequence of performances & his injured hand was making it hard for him to do things by himself.”

A fan also shared a close-up of Hyunjin’s hand wrap.

Stray Kids is known for its unique and complex choreography, with their “Thunderous,” “God’s Menu” and “Maniac” dance routines becoming very popular among fans. Aside from complicated footwork, the group is also known to include several hand movements in their dance steps.

The members had earlier revealed that the video for their 2019 track, “MIROH,” was the hardest one to film, apparently because the song’s choreography was physically demanding.

Hyunjin also won hearts Monday after he expressed his gratitude to American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters who were at their two-day “Maniac” concert in California.

“I was so touched and thankful that I almost cried, so let’s all scream for the ASL interpreters. It was so beautiful seeing them interpret and sign every one of our lyrics. It made me want to learn sign language as well. Thank you,” he said during the concert.

Stray Kids is set to perform in Seattle on Thursday and Friday as part of their “Maniac” world tour in the U.S.
