Happy Saturday! I hope you’ve got fun weekend plans lined up. I’m excited to finally have some time to go to my favorite film festival for a bit today. Before that, though, there’s the small matter of today’s game of Heardle. I’ve got some clues and the answers coming up in case you need ‘em.

For the uninitiated, here’s how to play Heardle: You will hear the first second of a reasonably well-known song. You’ll then take a guess at the artist and title or skip your turn. Heardle

“Take Your Mama” by Scissor Sisters!

This is a real good song. I’ve always liked Scissor Sisters and it’s fun to see them pop up on Heardle. Here’s hoping they make a return someday and put out more music. You can listen to the full song below:

That’s all for today’s Heardle. I’ll have clues and the answer for Sunday’s song on my blog too.

Meanwhile, I’d love to know what you’re listening to. Let me know on Twitter. I can’t stop listening to Rival Schools at the minute. I’ve had their song “Wring It Out” on a near-constant loop for the last few days. It includes the lyric “I wanna do the right thing, when the right thing counts.” That’s just a lovely sentiment, and maybe something all of us should keep in mind.
