Rylan Clark’s new boyfriend revealed as Ex on the Beach star after marriage split

Rylan Clark’s new love interest Declan Doyle – the ex-boyfriend of Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry – has confirmed their romance after ‘a few dates.’

The 32-year-old reality TV star admitted to their relationship as he appeared on GB News and was quizzed on their connection after they were photographed together kissing and looking very cosy earlier in the week.

Declan told presenter Mark Dolan: “We’re just dating, it’s been a few dates – we really get on.”

He then went on to explain that they had met “at an event a while ago,” as he joked about being the more famous one in the couple.

He continued: “It’s just weird having to talk about it, it’s just been a few dates, it’s really early on, we are enjoying each other’s company, but it is going well.”

Show host Mark then told Declan how he had recently met Rylan at an awards ceremony and that he thought he had never looked happier – to which Declan responded that they were “very happy.”

Their courtship reportedly began in April when they were seen eating out together at fancy Canar Wharf eaterie Roka.

They were then also seen outside a restaurant in Marylebone drinking red wine as Rylan, 33, smoked.

The new romance comes after Rylan needed to take time out from work last year after he split with husband of six years Dan Neal.

The couple met in 2013 after Rylan won Celebrity Big Brother, with Dan having appeared as a contestant on series 14 of Big Brother.

By 2014 they had announced their engagement and they tied the knot in 2015 with Rylan becoming step-dad to Dan’s son Cameron.

They reportedly split over several factors including differing opinions on having more children and a clash over Dan’s TV career ambitions.

However, Rylan has repeatedly publicly blamed himself for the breakdown of their marriage with posts on Instagram and Twitter.
