The single was certified 5x Platinum by RIAA, and earned him a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

His 2021 singles Wasting Time featuring Drake, Gravity featuring DJ Dahi and Tyler the Creator, and Mercedes, all earned him an entry on the Billboard Hot 100.

He also appeared on tracks alongside Kanye West, Baby Keem, and Tems.

When is his new album, Wasteland, being released?

Faiyaz officially released his album Wasteland on July 8, 2022.

The 19-track LP includes previously shared tacks featuring Tyler, Drake, and The Neptunes.

The album includes additional features from Tre’ Amani, Joony and Alicia Keys.

His new album explores the differences between wealth and poverty, as well as the effects of fame.

Speaking to Vogue about the meaning of his new album, Faiyaz explained: “It was less of an album process and more of a life process. I just made a collection of songs and tied a storyline together once I saw that they all kind of shared a similar theme.

“I didn’t really realize I was working on an album until I was maybe a little over halfway through. Then I realized, Wait a minute, this is a body of work.”

Wasteland is the follow-up to his 2020 F**k the World, which featured his RIAA gold-certified tracks Clouded, Rehab (Winter in Paris) and F**k the World (Summer in London).
