Dylan Alcott is flanked by scantily clad showgirls at Le Moulin Rouge in Paris

Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott had a fun time at Le Moulin Rouge in Paris on Wednesday as he posed next to a trio of showgirls dressed in revealing outfits.

The former wheelchair tennis player, 31, attended the theatre show with his girlfriend Chantelle Otten, who was also pictured sitting in the lap of a male performer.

Dylan watched as corset-clad dancers performed the can-can, and at one stage picked up a racquet to hit a tennis ball back and forth with one of them.

It comes after the couple recently sparked a debate on social media when a video surfaced of Dylan controlling a vibrating sex toy that was inside Chantelle, 31, while they were out to dinner with friends.

He was seen gleefully adjusting the intensity of the sexologist’s vibrator via an app on his phone, before her friends touched her crotch so they could feel the buzzing.

The footage ruffled feathers on Twitter, with some critics saying Dylan’s behaviour was ‘unbecoming’ of a role model who was awarded one of his country’s highest honours, while others found his antics either hilarious or harmless.

‘This is gutter behaviour and no civilised society should allow it to be normalised. Time to cancel Australian of the Year,’ one Twitter user said.

‘As Australian of The Year, do we really need to read about your sexual adventures at a Sydney restaurant? Is anything sacred in your world? Sort yourself out,’ another added.

However, Dylan did receive plenty of positive feedback, with many supporters saying his racy date night with Chantelle made the sporting hero even more likeable.

‘I just read an article about Dylan Alcott, a respected Paralympian, disability advocate and Australian of the Year, using a sex toy on his partner at a restaurant. Frankly I’m shocked. I didn’t think I could like him more than I already did, but here we are,’ one fan tweeted.

Others defended the radio host’s behaviour against the Twitter pile-on, writing: ‘Dylan Alcott did nothing that his partner didn’t want him to do. This whole woke society has gone too far. As far as I can tell he is in a loving relationship. #LeaveDylanAlone.’

Before heading out, Chantelle explained on Instagram: ‘To celebrate Pride, I decided to try something new to bring me pleasure.’

‘This part slips into your knickers,’ she added, while showing off the device.

‘It is designed to sit on the [clitoris], but after trying, I think it can also sit under the balls for [penis] owners. It’s a really fun toy and can be versatile.’

Once seated at the swanky restaurant with the toy placed inside of her, Chantelle was seen flinging her head back at the table as she enjoyed the sensations.
