Liverpool fans react to ‘terrifying’ Jurgen Klopp team decision for Chelsea game

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho will start alongside Virgil van Dijk in defence with both Joe Gomez and Joel Matip out injured and some fans aren’t happy. Fabinho is now Liverpool’s fourth-choice centre-back after Dejan Lovren was allowed to leave this summer.

The Croatia international had to be relied upon on several occasions last year with both Gomez and Matip suffering injury problems.

And the same issue has arose just two games into the new campaign with Van Dijk being the only senior central defender fit to play.

Ozan Kabak has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield to provide cover.

But Fabinho has been called in to play alongside Van Dijk for the all-important away game at Chelsea on Sunday.
