NBA star Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets was arrested on Wednesday for felony domestic violence in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
TMZ reports that Bridges “turned himself in to a local jail regarding an alleged physical altercation that happened on Tuesday.”
Bridges allegedly was in an argument with a woman that “turned physical,” and the woman needed medical attention after the incident.
Additionally, cops were called to the scene, but Bridges was gone by the time they arrived.

Bridges turned himself in on Wednesday and was released by LAPD after his $130,000 bail was met.
The 24-year-old forward was the 12th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft — out of Michigan State — by the Los Angeles Clippers before being traded to the Hornets later that night.
Bridges had a career-best season in 2021-22, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists for the Hornets.
The Hornets extended Bridges a qualifying offer earlier on Tuesday; he’ll be a restricted free agent and Charlotte will have the right to match any offer he receives in free agency. He’d reportedly been hoping to land a max contract from a team in free agency, which starts on Thursday.
