Love Island’s Dami admits feelings for Indiyah
Dami #Dami
Mondays are for new beginnings and, in Love Island, that may sometimes mean realisations about whether the couple you’re in is the one for you.
On tonight’s episode (June 20), as Paige and Jacques had their first kiss and Tasha and Andrew grew closer, Indiyah and Dami realised that they were missing something – which they might have already found in each other.
Pulling Indiyah towards the couch for a chat, Dami confessed their regular conversations had sparked something in him that he felt had been lacking from his relationship with Amber. And, luckily for him, he wasn’t the only one feeling that way.

“I think [Ikenna] knows, romantically speaking, things aren’t progressing,” said Indiyah before later admitting in the interview room that the “energy” she had with Dami was absent with Ikenna.
Unable to deny the fact any longer, it didn’t take long for her and Ikenna to have the difficult conversation of uncoupling.
The duo decided that friendship was “the route” for them after agreeing that, to no one’s fault, they just didn’t click.
However, the same could not be said for Dami, who spent the rest of the episode torn between Amber and Indiyah. But at least for fans, the choice was clear.

“I’m still trying, I’m not giving up on anything,” he confessed to Andrew.
The islander also felt conflicted over being “buzzed up” when talking to Indiyah and enjoying the ease of his conversations with her, admitting “little fireworks were going off”.
Yet, despite their agreement that they would like to see where things would go, talking to Amber during the episode’s final moments, Indiyah advised her to give it “another day” when she confessed doubts about her and Dami. Will Indiyah’s growing feelings cause a rift between the two girls?

Meanwhile, Ekin-Su had a difficult face-off with Amber following Jay’s confession that he thought the girls did not like her.
“I think there are times you’re genuine and others where you’re questionable,” said Amber when she was approached for answers.
That did not sit well with Ekin-Su, who went on to verbally attack her friend before the rest of the girls stepped in.

“I think you’re calculated and you know what you’re doing,” said Gemma.
The two girls managed to hash things out the next day, with Amber admitting that they “got to have each other’s backs”, but the drama did stir up some doubts for Jay.
“All I was trying to do last night was let her know that maybe her feelings towards the girls weren’t being reciprocated?” he confided to the guys.
“I don’t want any more drama – I’ve had enough drama to last me a lifetime.”
“You picked the wrong girl if you don’t want any drama,” was the response he got.
But with Ekin-Su voted as one of the least popular islanders, is it possible that Jay will soon be single once again?
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox.
