Good Things announces amp-rattling 2022 line-up

Good Things #GoodThings

Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, The Amity Affliction, Gojira and more are headed to the East Coast to louden up your December.

Loud and proud touring festival Good Things is back, and if heavy riffs, punk pits, and big names is your deal, then you’ve gotta check out this line-up.

Headlining this year is Bring Me The Horizon, returning Down Under for the first time since 2019, and following ‘DiE4u’ landing the showstopping Brits their 11th appearance in triple j’s Hottest 100. Having defied expectations through collabs with everyone from YUNGBLUD and Ed Sheeran to Masked Wolf, BMTH might arrive on our shores with new music to follow-up 2020 project POST HUMAN: SURIVAL HORROR.

Also topping the bill is alt-metal legends Deftones, punk icons NOFX (performing their 1994 album Punk In Drublic in full), French metal masters Gojira, and local legends The Amity Affliction. Oh, plus the reformation of TISM, the sonic pranksters’ first shows in nearly two decades, which has our Double J mates especially excited.

The story of TISM

The mystery, the mayhem, and the merriment of Australia’s most anonymous band.

If that wasn’t enough, you’ve also got Aussie aces Northlane, the mighty Polaris, Thornhill, RedHook, Cosmic Psychos, and Kisschasy (performing 2005 debut album United Paper People in full).

Other international flavours include Swedish punk legends Millencolin, Italian gothsters Lacuna Coil, Ukranian hell-raisers Jinjer, Cali pop punks The Story So Far, Norway’s Blood Command, and heavy metal mainstays Sabaton and Soulfly.

Good Things is returning to venues in Melbourne and Sydney – once again opening up and welcoming young moshers ages 15+ – and Brisbane, for 18 and up.

See you in the pit? Tickets are up for grabs Thursday 23 June, 10am AEST. But there’s early bid tix up for presale from 21 June. View the details below and more info at goodthingsfestival.com.au.
