Jack Grealish “Reminds Me Of Andres Iniesta In His Prime”
Iniesta #Iniesta
Jack Grealish has been compared to Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta by former Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor.
The Villa captain ended any rumours about his future being away from the club, by signing a new five year deal on Tuesday.
Whilst the 25-year-old is undoubtedly the most important player in Dean Smith’s team, former Villa forward Agbonlahor has taken the praise for the player to a whole new level.
Speaking to talkSPORT on Wednesday, Agbonlahor claimed the England international reminded him of ‘prime’ Andres Iniesta and claimed he’s seen no one with the natural talent of his former teammate.
Iniesta is considered one of the best midfielders of his generation, possibly even of all time, and his partnership with Xavi helped Barcelona to incredible heights.
The former Spain international won nine La Liga titles, four Champions League, the World Cup, two Euros, was in the FIFpro World XI on nine occasions and came second, third and fourth once each in the Ballon d’Or.
So far in his career Grealish has won the Championship play-off with his club and the Toulon Tournament with the England U21.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team added Donny van de Beek to their side and Chris Sutton believes that a lack of interest in the Birmingham born midfielder is the reason he signed a new deal.
“The fact that he’s signed, does that not mean that the big clubs don’t want him?
“That’s the way it seems from the outside. I’m sure the agent or whatever would have put feelers out, but they don’t want him and he’s said ‘okay, you don’t want me, I’ll sign another contract at Villa.'”
Villa be very happy he’s signed a new deal, and even happier if he plays like Iniesta.
