Ontarians cast their ballots in provincial election

Polls open at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 2nd for the 43rd Ontario general election.

Details on where to vote can be found on your voter information card, or online at Elections Ontario.

Residents are reminded to bring their voter information card with them to their designated polling station, as well as two pieces of identification.

Many decided to cast their vote early this year.

Elections Ontario said 1,066,545 voters cast their ballot early during 10 days of advance polls. That’s 9.92 per cent of eligible voters, up from 6.8 per cent in 2018.

There are seven names on the ballot in Sarnia-Lambton, and seven candidates running in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
