CLEVELAND, Ohio — With a gun lobby in the U.S Capitol lavishing Republican Senators, there’s a ‘gun lobby’ in Buffalo and now Uvalde morgues, being filled with the latest innocent victims of mass shootings.

After the horrific mass shooting at the Sandy Hook elementary school that killed 26, little was done to regulate assault weapons to prevent another massacre. So ten years later, it shouldn’t be a shock that the massacre of innocence was repeated at an Uvalde, Texas elementary school, but it still is.

This time, 19 children and 2 adults trying to shield them, were butchered by bullets fired from an AR-15 triggered by 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, who had purchased two AR-15′s and 375 rounds of ammunition after his birthday so he could commence a deathday for 21 people.

As at Sandy Hook, DNA is needed to identify the victims who will be waked in closed caskets, such is the damage done to human flesh from just one AR-15 bullet, let alone multiple shots.

The weapons Salvador Ramos was able to legally buy for his heinous act of inhumanity are more lethal than the combat rifles used in the Vietnam war.

This nation has too long been engaged in another war, against gun violence and the gun lobby, now with innocent children again put in the front lines of battle.
