Did the Bucks miss Khris Middleton in Game 7?
Slightly.
Let’s just say if you took the under for made three-pointers by the Bucks Sunday, your bank account surely has a few more dollars in it.
Milwaukee made just four of 30 shots from beyond the arc in Sunday’s 109-81 loss at TD Garden that eliminated the defending-champion Bucks from the NBA playoffs.
The Celtics meanwhile, made 22 of 55 shots from beyond the three-point line.
Twitter reacted to the Bucks’ Game 7 defeat:
It was noted often that the team was not at full strength.
But the Celtics outscored the Bucks an unheard of 66-12 from the three-point line in Game 7.
The Bucks shot 57 for 204 in the series from three (27.9 %).
The Celtics shot Celtics 110 for 292 (37.6%).
About that drop coverage?
Three Celtics players hit as many or more threes than the entire Milwaukee team in Game 7.
At least one famous Celtics fan gave the Bucks their due.
And Bleacher report had jokes.
And there was some Giannis news.
Home court apparently does matter in this series.
And even in defeat, here’s one more reason why everybody should love Jrue Holiday.
