Former Texas A&M guard Alex Caruso has developed into an integral role player for the Los Angeles Lakers this season, who punched their ticket to the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night with a 119-96 victory over the Houston Rockets.
While Caruso has got it done on the offensive end on a couple occasions this series, he made his presence felt on the defensive end of the floor midway through the second quarter.
After turning it over with 7:11 left in the second quarter, Caruso chased down Rockets guard James Harden and blocked him from behind preventing a transition basket after the Rockets were not able to take advantage of the offensive rebound.
Caruso blocked another shot late in the second half and finished the game with five points, two assists, two rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 24 minutes of action.
