Lee Anderson tells House there is no ‘massive use of food banks’

Conservative MP for Ashfield Lee Anderson told the House of Commons that there is “no massive use for food banks”.

Instead, he explained that food banks help families who “can’t cook a meal from scratch”.

This comes as MPs discuss welfare and justice in the UK following the Queen’s Speech.
