Oilers’ Mike Smith: Gets nod for series opener

Smith will start Monday’s Game 1 against the Kings, Oilers TV Reporter Tony Brar reports.

Smith was unbeatable in April, going 9-0-0 with a 1.66 GAA and .951 save percentage. He’ll look to carry that success over to the month of May as the Oilers begin their quest for the Stanley Cup on home ice against Los Angeles.
