Arbroath posted the “greatest tweet of all-time” after losing their Scottish Championship title decider in the 90th minute.
Heading into their clash with top of the table Kilmarnock, Arbroath knew defeat would end their hopes of automatic promotion to the Premiership with just one point separating the two sides and one more game to play.
A win, however, would put them in pole position and they got off to the perfect start with a ninth-minute goal. However, Killie found two late strikes including a last-minute winner which secured the trophy. While the home fans went wild at Rugby Park the Arbroath Twitter account simply posted: “F***.”
