RANGERS ace Fashion Sakala claims he got a defining touch to clinch the Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic.

Now the Gers super sub has poked fun at the Hoops defenders tasked with making sure he didn’t.

The Zambian leapt off the bench a few minutes into the second half of extra-time in Sunday’s thrilling Old Firm.

He and Celtic stopper Carl Starfelt challenged to meet the Calvin Bassey delivery that deflected beyond Joe Hart – with the Swede credited with an own goal.

That sent the Rangers players off in wild celebrations with their own supporters while the Celtic players slumped to the Hampden turf.

And Sakala has joked those sprawled out on the grass needed an AMBULANCE while he was carrying on.

He posted a picture on his Instagram of the moment shortly after the winning goal where he started to wheel off in celebration.

Stephen Walsh, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Starfelt are all in the picture and on the ground as the striker and team-mate Scott Wright begin their run to the packed Gers end.

He captioned the pic: “Pic of the day”, with a laughing face.

“I’m still standing while others need an ambulance.” This time finished off with an ambulance and two laughing emojis.

Sakala was adamant he got the defining touch and explained why he didn’t immediately go off to celebrate.

He said: “Yes, it is my goal. I definitely got the last touch!

“I was a little unsure at first and there was a bit of a misunderstanding why I didn’t celebrate the goal straight away.

“The players were all running in different directions and I was just lying there.”

Despite running on empty after their Euro exertions three days earlier, Gers got the job done again.

Sakala added: “Our mentality was brilliant. We had a game against Braga three days ago and another  120 minutes here.

“We didn’t have any time to rest, but we were still going strong.

“It was beautiful at the end to share the moment with the fans. We always try to give something back to them because they are always there for us even in the bad moments. We so much wanted to give them this victory today.

“It was a brilliant feeling to finally get the win.”
