Mathieu Perreault: Inks deal with Montreal

Perreault signed a one-year, $950,000 deal with the Canadiens on Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Perrault has found a new home after spending the last seven seasons in Winnipeg. The 33-year-old had put up six consecutive seasons of 30 points or more but has failed to register 20 in back-to-back campaigns. He’ll look to have a resurgent year with a move back to his hometown team for his 13th year in the NHL.
