Oliver Skipp names Tottenham star who does incredible stuff in training

Oliver Skipp has shared that Tottenham player Tanguy Ndombele does “incredible things” in training. 

Skipp, 20, is with the Spurs squad during pre-season after a successful loan with Norwich City last season.

The young academy graduate has named Ndombele as someone that dazzles behind the scenes. 

“Tanguy does some incredible things [in training] you have to double check,” Skipp said.

Ndombele, who cost Spurs £53.8million two years ago, is a central midfielder who’s shown in patches his individual ability.

The 24-year-old Frenchman looks at his best with the ball at his feet because he can shift either way quickly, plus he can give the north London club an extra attacking boost.

He managed six goals and four assists across all competitions last season.

Spurs fans are excited going into the new season to see what manager Nuno Espirito Santo brings.

There were times at former club Wolves he played with a three-man midfield, so perhaps he could try out a new-look combination.

For example, he could use a defensive midfield pivot of Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg with Ndombele in a number 10 pocket just in front. It should cross the mind of Nuno.

Ndombele should have big expectation on him going into his third season in English football and he needs to bring consistency now, as he’s got the talent.

He’s someone that should love the return of fans so he can showcase his flair.
