Arsenal are planning a bid worth £30million for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, talkSPORT understands.
The 23-year-old was relegated with the Blades last season, but could soon be making a swift return to the Premier League.

Ramsdale had a strong second half to the 2020/21 campaign in a poor Sheffield United side
The Gunners have already seen two bids for him rejected and are preparing to go in with a third.
talkSPORT’s transfer correspondent Alex Crook said: “Aaron Ramsdale, of course a late call-up to England’s European Championship squad, he had a great time being the backup goalkeeper in that competition.
“It is my understanding that Arsenal have made the Sheffield United ‘keeper their no.1 target. They’ve been linked with Sam Johnstone as well, but it’s all in now for Aaron Ramsdale.

Ramsdale was England’s third-choice goalkeeper at Euro 2020
“I’m told they’ve already had two bids rejected for the former Bournemouth goalkeeper and they are lining up a third.
“The fee could be as much as £30million. That would be music to the ears of Bournemouth as they have a sell-on clause.”

Arsenal allowed Emiliano Martinez to be sold to Aston Villa last summer for just £20million and are now in the market for a new no.1.
Trevor Sinclair questioned why the Argentine was allowed to leave.

Martinez had a brilliant season for Villa
He told talkSPORT: “I don’t get it. We’ve said before, Emi Martinez going to Villa, why? He was playing superbly well for Arsenal.
“They’ve allowed their best goalkeeper to leave and now they are chasing their tail to get someone in to replace Leno.
“I don’t understand how Arsenal are being run as a football club. That Emi Martinez one should have never gone through.
“They should have let them fight it out for the No.1 jersey and keep it honest. They’ve not done that and he’s been superb at Villa.
“It would be a great move for Ramsdale. A huge club in Arsenal. It’s quite a big fee, but when you’ve got Arsenal players training with him, they’ll see his quality and will reinforce what Mikel Arteta feels about him.”
