Devin Booker’s incredibly awkward 15 hours with two Bucks stars after Suns’ Finals loss

Booker #Booker

Devin Booker just endured the worst loss of his basketball career at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. Now the Phoenix Suns star could potentially have to endure spending an entire day confined with two of his recent foes.

Devin Booker is one of three stars in the NBA Finals who are slated to play for Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics. The other two joining the Suns guard? Bucks stars Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton.

Based on a quick google search, a standard flight from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Tokyo, Japan lasts around 15 hours. That’s a ton of time to spend in an enclosed space together with two men who are probably on “WANTED” posters in Phoenix, Arizona.

But in all likelihood, Booker, Holiday, and Middleton will all probably get along assuming they do spend that time aboard a plane. There wasn’t any lingering animosity between them throughout the series, and both Suns and Bucks players stayed respectful of one another throughout. While it’s a tough pill to swallow for DBook, he’s a big boy who can probably compartmentalize his emotions as he transitions into Team USA mode.

I feel sorry for whoever defender is assigned to check Devin Booker at the Tokyo Olympics. You better believe the Suns All-Star is giving everyone the business.
