Los Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux was put on the 10-day injured list Monday afternoon after injuring his hamstring on Sunday.
So on Monday night he was just a spectator on the bench cheering on his teammates as they took on the rival San Francisco Giants, who ended up winning the game 7-2. The Giants now lead the Dodgers by two games in the NL West.
Lux did have some fun on the bench, however, as his reaction to Max Muncy’s home run in the first inning was pretty great. He looked to be equal parts happy, confused, and proud while his first baseman ran around the bases.
Check this out:
@OrelHershiser: A few more facial expressions from Gavin Lux and he’ll be a cartoon. @Joe_Davis: Yea. I’m sure he’s already a gif.
Yes Joe, you are correct. pic.twitter.com/54WcQIj5gz
