An old friend of the show was the subject of a Feel Good Friday Moment of the Day, as Jerry remembered how Chris Carlin once worked with Boomer & Carton but didn’t really seem to want to be the update guy.
“I think the bad rap Carlin gets is that he didn’t want to do this, he wanted to be a talk show host,” Jerry said.
Boomer said he tried to help him and Al agreed, and that brought out some Eddie drops, including a vulgar one.
“That’s exactly what he and Gio were saying to each other down on Hudson Street!” Boomer laughed, remembering a confrontation the Mullet and the Continent had years back.
And then, in came Eddie with the perfect finishing drop, and, well, listen for yourself!
