LOVE Island’s Brad McClelland has admitted that he regrets telling Lucinda Strafford to stay in the villa – and hopes that she DOESN’T find love.
The 26-year-old labourer became the latest Islander to be dumped in this evening’s show after he and 21-year-old Lucinda were faced with a savage twist.

After being voted least compatible by the public, they had to choose between themselves who left – and Brad volunteered as he’d had more time in the villa.
He insisted that she stayed on the show rather than leave with him – but in his exit interview confessed he regretted saying that.
Brad explained: “On the night, it was one of them situations where, I didn’t want her to leave [with me]. The way we had a connection, it would be really nice to take what we had and continue it on the outside.
“I woke up this morning and I wish we had left together. I want to see where that could have went. Not being able to speak to Cind, or ask her where she’s at, I want to know how she’s woke up this morning.”

The hunk went on: “I’m kind of hoping she doesn’t find love in there, because maybe we can carry on from where we left off.”
Brad added that he will be “keeping an eye” on how Lucinda’s Love Island journey continues, and he’ll be “straight in her DMs” if she leaves single.
Sharing his shock at being voted least compatible couple by viewers, the ex Islander shared: “Me and Cind were faultless. Everyone was commenting on how happy I looked, how happy Cinds was.
“Cinds was telling me how happy she was with me and vice versa. Everyone could notice it. I think if you were to ask the Islanders in there, who is the most compatible couple in there, me and Cind would have been right up there.”

And he reckons the show’s two friendship couples – Hugo and Sharon, and Kaz and Aaron – should have actually been at the bottom.
Brad was one of the original boys for the 2021 series of Love Island, and initially coupled up with Faye.
However, his head was turned by Chloe – and when she chose a friendship couple with Hugo instead of a relationship with him at a recoupling ceremony, he was left having to graft newcomer Rachel to keep his spot in the villa.
Brad’s efforts paid off and Chuggs got dumped from the show instead – but he left Rachel in tears when his head was turned by new arrival Lucinda just days later.
