Video: Moffat Score is First Celtic Goal

Owen Moffat put Celtic into the lead against Sheffield Wednesday, and it’s no less than he deserved for his performance. 

The young winger was brilliant during the game, especially the second thirty minutes when Celtic upped the intensity and pressing.

It was a young side that got put out for the first 60 minutes, but they certainly grew into the game and were good value for their lead.

Moffat’s goal was a great finish.

The 19-year-old lets the ball roll past him, takes the shot on the turn and buries it.

A lot of these young players today will be heading to play with the Colts next season but some might keep their place in this first-team squad if they impress.

Ange Postecoglou will have to decide quickly who he wants to stay and who will be heading to the Lowland League.

We have a lot of promising youngsters and we have to make sure none of them are lost to the system like many before.
