Love Island fans accuse ‘sneaky’ Faye of playing Hugo to avoid brutal dumping

Hugo #Hugo

Love Island fans have accused Faye of ‘playing’ Hugo in a bid to avoid being dumped from the island in the next coupling-up ceremony.

The 26-year-old contestant, who is currently in a couple with Geordie lad Brad, appeared to have a sudden interest in teacher Hugo after drama ensued after Wednesday night’s beer pong challenge.

During the brutal game, Brad was dared to kiss the girl he fancied the most.

In a massive twist, he decided to lock lips with newcomer Chloe in front of Faye.

To matter worse, the cheeky chap was asked to then kiss the girl who he found least attractive.

Love Island viewers watched in horror as Brad made moves on Faye in a bid to let her know he has zero interest in continuing their romance.

Following the dramatic twist, fans noticed that Faye appeared to have a sudden new interest in Hugo, who she previously described as ‘boring’ and ‘too nice’.

The blonde bombshell grabbed Hugo for a chat on Thursday night and implied that she would love to ‘see where things go’ between the pair as they get to know each other more.

Despite her admission to Hugo, eagle-eyed fans made it clear that they didn’t buy her sudden attraction to her fellow islander.

Taking to Twitter, they hit out at Faye, with some labelling her ‘sneaky’.

“Oh, Faye is well sneaky pretending to be into Hugo. Convenient it’s just in time for the next dumping,” one viewer suggested.

“Faye and Hugo would never work in a million years. And it’s clear she has no interest in him. Run Hugo, run,” another echoed.

“As if Faye fancies Hugo after calling him boring and saying she needs a bad boy. He’s the complete opposite to Brad so how could she like him so quickly?” another pointed out.

Meanwhile, someone else quipped: “Yeah Faye, and pigs can bloody fly. She’s on a hunt to bag Hugo so she’s not axed from the island. Nah, not a fan.”

With the arrival of new boys Liam and Chuggs, it looks like Hugo might be the one who is not safe anymore.

Tune in to watch the drama unfold as Love Island continues tomorrow on ITV2 at 9pm.
