Love Island newcomer Chuggs spills unusual reason behind nickname – and it’s not what you think
Chuggs #Chuggs
Love Island got two new boys as drama in the villa spiced up.
Liam Reardon came in to the hit ITV2 show alongside bucket-hat business owner Chuggs Wallis – aka Oliver.
The two lads set tongues wagging in the villa immediately as ‘Chuggs’ took Sharon Gaffka off on a date.

Viewers had picked the pair to have a meal together, and they quickly addressed the unusual nickname.
Chuggs explained that the name stood for ‘cuddles and hugs.’
“So it is my nickname, Chuggs, like a baby name ‘cuddles and hugs’… my Christian name is Oliver,” he told Sharon.
Fans were shocked it had nothing to do with alcohol.
One wrote: “no bc i was expecting chuggs’ nickname to be like bc he can chug a drink or smth??? cuddles and hugs?? nah.”
A second added: “Honestly chuggs was bad and then the reasoning.”
And a third wrote: “Was expecting him to say he downed a bottle of Smirnoff Ice at a frat party or something.”
Chuggs has already got a pal in the villa as he knows fellow contestant Hugo Hammond from outside.
He’s said before entering the villa that he has his eye on Brummie babe Liberty Poole – so watch this spot.
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm tomorrow.
