Justin Jaynes will make the walk for his UFC Fight Night 190 bout with Charles Rosa at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time, and let’s just there is way too much riding on the line for the second fight of a lackluster card.

“I’m putting my entire fight contract on myself, and my coaches are doing that, as well,” Jaynes said in an interview with Overtime Heroics. “I’m betting close to ($25,000) that I’m winning my fight because that’s how much I believe in myself. This is all in for me and if I lose this fight, I do not get paid, and my coaches do not get paid either.”

The latest BetMGM odds have Jaynes, who enters on a three-fight losing streak, listed as a slight +145 underdog.

As you can imagine, Jaynes has heard from a lot of people on social media since the news of his wager first surfaced this week. They think this is an incredibly ballsy or incredibly dumb move on is part.

Either way, Jaynes doesn’t care. And he made that very clear in a video he posted Friday on Instagram.

“I just wanna tell everyone I really appreciate the positive energy I’m receiving and the negative energy I’m receiving, but at the end of the day I really just don’t give a f*ck,” Jaynes said. “It’s not your money. Let me bet what I wanna bet. I believe in myself, I believe in my coaching staff, I believe in my ability, I believe in my full training camp. …

“I’m taking a risk. My job is on the line, my UFC career is on the line, all the money that I’m gonna be making in this fight is on the line, and I love it. But I do wanna reiterate: I don’t give a f*ck what any of you think. I’m getting these messages, ‘Oh my God, you’re about to be broke.’ Motherf*cker, I was broke before. If I lose, I’ll be broke again, and I’ll figure it out. It’s not that serious to me.”

Even if he doesn’t care one way or the other, here’s hoping the MMA gods bestow good fortune on Jaynes. For what it’s worth, Rosa has alternated wins and losses in his past 10 fights – and he’s coming off a loss.
