Brewers’ Travis Shaw: Moved to 60-day IL

Shaw (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

The veteran infielder dislocated his shoulder while diving for a ball Wednesday and plans to try to rehab the injury without surgery. That could allow him to return to the field in August, but any setbacks could result in the end of his season. Hunter Strickland, who was acquired in a trade with the Angels on Saturday, will fill Shaw’s spot on the 40-man roster.
