AFL news 2021: Geelong vs Port Adelaide, travel plans, covid restrictions, travel bubble, stuck in Adelaide, Patrick Dangerfield interview

Geelong #Geelong

Geelong players and staff will spend the night in Adelaide after their planned charter flight back to Victoria was cancelled due to fog.

Amid Victoria’s COVID-19 lockdown, the Cats were allowed into South Australia by health authorities on a charter flight, with the plan to fly back to Victoria on the same night.

Shortly after the match, the Cats were informed they wouldn’t be able to travel back due to fog, with star Patrick Dangerfield admitting the side’s plans were in a state of flux.
