Could the Kemba Walker era for the Boston Celtics be about to end? It seems as if that very well might be the case based on reporting from Bleacher Report’s Farbod Esnaashari.

Per Esnaashari’s sources, “the Boston Celtics and Walker are likely to move forward from their relationship this offseason in a mutual agreement between the parties.” This is evidently due to the fact that the Celtics’ now-retired team president Danny Ainge reportedly tried to deal the UConn product for now-Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday in the brief 2020 offseason, which would end up creating “a rift in the Walker-Ainge relationship.”

Now, “the feeling is mutual between Walker and the organization” about moving on, according to the B/R writer.
