Who is Knickerbocker Glory on The Masked Dancer? Fans think specific clue has given it away

The guessing game is well and truly on as The Masked Dancer continues on stage, and one of The Masked Dancer contestants serving up quite a treat is Knickerbocker Glory.

We’ve see the dancing dessert perform twice so far, and The Masked Dancer judges still can’t work out who they might be.

From Strictly Come Dancing‘s Craig Revel Horwood to Stephen Mulhern and Debbie McGee, the guesses have been endless when it comes to Knickerbocker Glory.

Some fans are convinced RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Joe Black could be behind the vibrant costume, while one ruled out Debbie McGee as the culprit due to a very obvious clue.

Knickerbocker will take to the stage for a third time tonight (Thursday, 3rd June) where we’ll see the series’ first double elimination and hear the contestant’s undisguised voice for the first time.

But will they be able to keep their mask on?

Is Knickerbocker Glory Debbie McGee?

“I hope I have the recipe for sweet success again this week,” Knickerbocker Glory said.

“This isn’t an all-star talent show. But, yes, I can juggle. Not a lot but if I had an assistant, then maybe. I have a little confession to make, I dabble in music here and there. I love the illusion of what is real and what is not.”

Fans thought this clue was a clear sign it was Debbie McGee, who famously was an assistant for her husband magician Paul Daniels.

However, one fan was keen to point out that Debbie McGee is just 5ft 1in, however,  ahead of her dance off with Beetroot who was revealed to be Dita Von Teese and is 5ft 5in, Knickerbocker appeared much taller.

Some viewers thought the Mind the Gaps clue was a reference to Craig Revel Horwood and the fact he won a cooking show with his signature dish of jellied prawn cocktails.

Others have pointed out that Knickerbocker’s dance moves are very similar to Horwood’s.

Davina McCall thinks funnyman and presenter Stephen Mulhern might be behind this costume, after picking up on the two ice cream sundaes during Knickerbocker’s performance. The other judges thought this was a clue that Knickerbocker is part of a double act, whereas McCall thinks Knickerbocker could work with a famous double act. Mulhern famously works alongside Ant and Dec for Saturday Night Takeaway.

Fans think Drag Race star Joe Black could be Knickerbocker Glory, with many sharing their thoughts on Twitter about the drag queen who appeared on the recent second series of the BBC show.
