‘Baby Gawn coming October,’ she wrote.

A gushing Gawn appeared on Nova Breakfast radio where he revealed his wife was already 17 weeks into the pregnancy.

Though the Demon’s captain admitted the due date would land on a very awkward time for the 29-year-old.

‘Yes, 17 weeks, due around Cup Day which is a bit of a dilemma for me,’ he said.

‘Not sure where I’ll be … if I’m two legs up in the quaddie do I leave?’

Gawn said his wife had gone ‘rogue’ and went ahead and announced the baby news on social media without waiting for him.

‘It’s very exciting,’ he said. ‘I’m feeling OK, everyone’s warning you that it’s going to change your life but I’m pretty confident I’m going to stay the same person.’

Gawn married his partner Jessica on New Years Day at Mornington Peninsula last year.
