Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets: Live updates, time, TV channel, how to watch free live stream online

Blazers #Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers enter Game 2 Monday night at Denver feeling good about their situation. But the last time the Blazers led a first-round series 1-0, they ended up losing that series 4-1.

Of course, that came last season against the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers when the Blazers slipped into the playoffs as the No. 8 seed at the NBA bubble and stole Game 1. It’s unfair to compare the two situations, but it serves as a warning that losing Game 1 can be overcome with ease, especially for the favorite.

“I don’t know if there’s much carryover,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said. “We’re a different team this year than we were last year. Denver is a different team than the Lakers. We’ve got a veteran team. We’ve got a lot of guys that have played a lot of playoff games. We know how important each playoff game is.”

Game 2 starts at 7 p.m.
