Brooke Blurton made a fashion statement as she stepped out for the first time since being announced as The Bachelorette on Thursday.
The charity youth worker, 26, who is Australia’s first bisexual woman to front the franchise, was spotted leaving Channel Ten’s Sydney studios in a brightly coloured pantsuit, following a busy morning of media appearances.
Proving she isn’t afraid to turn heads, Brooke channelled her inner Barbie doll by sporting a pink blazer and matching high-waist flare trousers.

Her look was completed with a white singlet top, strappy white stiletto heels and gold earrings.
She also carried her belongings in a black leather Balenciaga handbag worth about $1700.
For makeup, the brunette highlighted her blue eyes with rust-coloured eye shadow and winged eyeliner, and accentuated her cheeks with peach-toned blush.

In a Bachelor Australia series first, Brooke will date both men and women.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, the Indigenous reality star said she feels ‘ready’ to help smash the reality TV show’s conventions.
When asked how she felt audiences would take the change, Brooke admitted, ‘I am not too sure if Australia is ready for it.I certainly am.’

‘If it makes people feel uncomfortable in any way, I really challenge them to think about why it does,’ continued the Bachelor in Paradise star.
Brooke has dated men and women in the past.
She addressed her sexuality on The Bachelor in 2018, telling leading man Nick Cummins, ‘I’ve had four relationships… one with a guy but I’ve also had two relationships with women.
‘When I was in those relationships, I looked beyond what they were as female and I really loved [them] for who they were as people.’
