With WrestleMania Backlash mere days away, WWE is offering up a title match on Friday night’s edition of SmackDown. Dominant champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler will put the women’s tag titles on the line against Tamina and Natalya as the challengers look to finally cash in on a championship opportunity.
Tamina and Natalya lost a shot at the titles during Night 2 of WrestleMania, a shot that was earned by winning Tag Team Turmoil the night before. They rebounded with a late April win over the champs in non-title action to prove they’re more than capable of winning the belts. Tamina also picked up a singles win over Jax in recent weeks. The two teams will settle things with a rubber match that could earn the daughters of WWE legends tag team gold.
